Private Healthcare Cashplan Cover
A number of private healthcare insurance providers offer policies that cover complementary therapies, such as Bupa, Health Shield, LAYA Healthcare, Paycare, UK Healthcare, Westfield Health, Simply Health etc. Due to the vast number of policies and insurers, it is the clients responsibility to ensure that part or all of the cost of treatment will be covered by the policy held.
Please note that other major insurance providers also offer a wide range of insurance products including complementary therapies.
The most common treatment we get asked for receipts for are;
Reflexology,
Aromatherapy Massage
Massage (this includes Deep Tissue Massage)
Sports Massage
Reiki
Ear Candling
Your provider may offer you other treatments to claim the cost back of however we cannot provide a receipt for a treatment you haven't had. For instance we cannot provide a physiotherapy receipt for sports massage.
Even though we have never had a receipt refused by an insurance provider we never guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse you the cost of the treatment. However if you let us know at the time of booking that you would like to claim back the cost of your treatment we can ensure that you are booked in with a therapist that is a member of either the Federation of Holistic Therapists or The Sports Therapy Association who we can provide a comprehensive receipt for. Some insurance companies do accept receipts from therapists who are not members of an association as long as the receipt has their full qualifications on and we can provide these also.

PLEASE NOTE ALL THERAPISTS AT CORE THERAPIES ARE SELF EMPLOYED AND HAVE THEIR OWN SELF EMPLOYED THERAPIST INSURANCE. IT IS THEIR PERSONAL CHOICE WHETHER THEY CHOOSE TO BE MEMBERS OF ASSOCIATIONS HENCE NOT ALL THERAPISTS BEING LISTED.
ALWAYS CHECK WITH YOUR PROVIDER FIRST THAT THEY ACCEPT THE QUALIFICATION OF THE THERAPIST AND ASSOCIATION THEY ARE A MEMBER OF AS WELL AS ENSURING YOU ARE COVERED FOR THE TREATMENT YOU ARE BOOKING FOR REIMBURSEMENT.
